| The Six Flags Show was tiled “Spy Girl” we won the Best Live Action Based Show in the world voted by IAAPA. This show they pretty much turned me loose and let me design some really intricate stunts, fighting and rigging. I have to admit this was one of the most fun shows I have ever done. We did a 4-city audition to find athletes that could handle the show. Writing the Score was Ian Seeberg and directing the show was Jamey Gallagher. Two of the craziest and most quick-witted people around. This alone made the rehearsal and long hours worthwhile. The athletes were phenomenal. After the show was laid out and described the fights they went at it. We have fights sideways on a mountainside on and off a makeshift Volcano. There are multiple weapon fights and some extremely acrobatic areas as well. All in all, a huge success for the cast and for the Six Flags Park in Gurnee. Hopefully if the stock bounces back they will have us do another show in another park |
